Psych Stat – Privacy Policy

Psych Stat is an offline clinical reference app for licensed clinicians. It is built so that there is nothing to collect: it has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, no tracking and no third-party SDKs that send data.

Data we collect

None. Psych Stat does not collect, store on any server, or share any personal information, health information or usage information.

What stays on your device

• Preferences: your default mode (pediatric or adult), theme, weight unit, favourite tools, the last five tools you opened, whether you accepted the first-launch disclaimer, how many tools you have opened (used once to decide when to show the App Store rating prompt), and the date of the last content update check. These are stored only on your device and are deleted when you delete the app.
• Scale answers and calculator inputs are held in memory for the current session only. They are never written to storage and are gone when you close the tool or the app. The app never asks for a patient's name or any identifier.
• Session weight and age, if you enter them, are held in memory only and cleared when the app closes.

Network connections

• Content updates. On launch the app checks Expo Application Services (EAS Update) for a newer bundle of clinical content. That request carries the app's runtime version, platform and update channel, and like any internet request exposes your device's IP address to the server. It carries nothing about you or your patients. See Expo's privacy policy.
• Reporting a content error opens a draft in your own mail app, pre-filled with the tool name and version numbers. Nothing is sent unless you send it.
• Sharing a result uses the system share sheet; the one-line summary goes only where you send it.

Children

Psych Stat is a professional tool intended for clinicians. It is not directed at children and collects no data from anyone.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted at this address with a new effective date.
