Pouché

Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 6, 2026

Pouché helps you track your cosmetics collection — what you own, when it expires, and which shades work for you. This policy explains what information the app collects, how it's used, and the choices you have. The short version: your data is used to run the app for you, and for nothing else. We don't sell it, we don't show ads, and we don't use third-party analytics or tracking.

What we collect

How AI scanning works

When you scan a product with the camera, the photo is sent securely to our servers and then to our AI provider (Anthropic) to identify the product's name, brand, and category. The photo is processed to generate that identification and is not used to train AI models. The photo is only saved to your collection if you choose to save the product.

Where your data lives

Your data is stored with Supabase, our cloud database and storage provider, protected by row-level security so that only your account can access your records. Subscription events are processed by RevenueCat on our behalf. These providers process data solely to deliver the app's functionality.

Notifications

Expiry alerts and brush-wash reminders are scheduled locally on your device. We do not send marketing push notifications.

What we don't do

Deleting your data

You can delete your account at any time from the Profile tab (Delete Account). This permanently removes your account, your entire collection, and all photos from our servers. It cannot be undone.

Children

Pouché is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we'll update this page and the date above.
